Austin has been ranked third in the nation for having "good looking people" in an AOL and Travel + Leisure magazine survey.
And Whole Foods is a hot spot for us beautiful people: "Austin More than a grocery store in its hometown, the Whole Foods Market (601 N. Lamar Blvd.; 512/476-1206) is a meeting place for attractive Austinites—not to mention visiting celebrity hipsters."
We also got other high marks:
- 3rd best city to visit in the spring (nothing beats sweltering heat in March coupled with swarms of grackels and mosquitos (unless, of course, you manage to catch those 17 minutes when the wildflowers and bluebonnets are a'bloomin')
- 4th best cultural attractions (uhhh.. yeah right.. I guess Leslie is cultural, right? sigh... if only it was true)
- 5th friendliest people (screw you! Keep Austin Weird and git off my lawn)
- 5th best city for nightlife (College students vomiting all over my shoes! Awesome! And with a casino coming along, we'll go up even higher on this class-o-meter)
