Take-a-breath Day

Today is one of those low-key, mellow days – no meetings and no pressing deadlines. I have a stack at least 6 inches thick of my notes, articles, reading materials, and action items that I hope to demolish today… I will consider it a successful day if my inbox is completely empty by 5:00.

Friday here is unofficially “casual Friday.” In the software world, dress codes are laughed at. Here, business casual is required on all days but Friday.

I like it. I think it suits me and certainly makes me feel like I am doing important things.
