This is how I’m organizing my workflow in my home office setup. I based a lot of what I’m doing on quite a bit of research and trials. There are some things that still need work (especially the interior design (i.e. wall colors), but it’s a work in progress. My first goal was to get all the functionality working. I’ve discovered some nifty things as I’ve experimented and lived with the setup (ex. w/ cable management)…

You may remember the 3d rendering of the furniture placing… this pretty much is still how it is (although there are a couple more sets shelves on the North wall (one set of baker’s racks and another set of adjustable wall-mounted shelves over my metal workstations)):

Also, I’ve already completed a couple of interviews with other home office/studio owners and will be launching a project about personal workspaces in ’05. Exciting!
