Hey bub…

Wanna know a secret?

The Moleskine legend is a lie.

Enjoy the fraud, chief.

I have succumbed to my in-the-closet hipster and purchased a new pair of Moleskine notepads (medium sized; one quadruled, one sketchbook) in the past couple of weeks. I have burned through 3 of the smaller books this year. I’m not proud of this. These are incredibly expensive chicken scratch pads. However, I’ve been inspired to try to do some more decent notes (rather than the indecipherable junk, as usual) as a open-curly-brace for this period of change.

I’m ultimately wanting to start posting some of the sketches and scribbles here (as if anyone cares).

Oh, I’ve been haunting myself with the Cranes live album. My goodness, that girl’s voice gives me goosebumps (and I’m not sure why. It’s like when a dog licks your hand and you get a weird twinge in the back of your throat. I think I like its strange stimulation.)

Also, for nice rainy days, may I recommend the coffee-sipping music of Ida?
